Help me prepare Ralika’s Shopify theme-extension source for integration.

Guide: https://ralika.tech/en/integrations/shopify/
ZIP: https://ralika.tech/downloads/ralika-shopify-source.zip
Workbench: https://ralika.tech/en/workbench/
Language: en-CA

This ZIP is source, not an uploadable theme or App Store app. Check access to a suitable real Shopify app, developer permissions, Shopify CLI and an authorized development store. If prerequisites are missing, explain their manual setup without inventing an app or installation link.

Within the app, use shopify app generate extension and select Theme app extension. Integrate assets/, blocks/ and locales/ while preserving the generated identity. Guide me through shopify app build and shopify app dev. shopify app deploy --no-release only stages a version.

In the test theme, enable Ralika under App embeds and Show local workbench tools publicly. Configure the workbench address and campaign type, then save. Visitors will see the controls. Test Import → Open → review. Do not release a version, change the live theme or send campaigns without instruction.
Before you begin
  • A real Shopify app that supports theme app extensions, with the required developer access.
  • That app’s Shopify CLI environment, a development store and permission to install and preview the app there.
  • Access to the store theme where the embed will be activated.
  • The extracted ZIP. It is integrated into an app and is not uploaded to the store as a theme.
What this integration does
  • Show a Ralika entry point on the storefront when you enable it.
  • Read public product information after a click and keep it in the browser used on that storefront.
  • Open the workbench with the product and campaign approach you choose.
  • Copy local JSON for manual transfer. Shopify orders, customers and inventory are not synchronized.

Detailed instructions

  1. Create the location within your app

From your existing Shopify app’s root directory, run the command below, choose Theme app extension and name the extension. Let Shopify generate its real identity and configuration.

    shopify app generate extension
  2. Copy the Ralika files

Copy the ZIP’s assets/, blocks/ and locales/ folders into the generated extension directory under extensions/. Keep Shopify’s generated identity and configuration. The ZIP itself does not provide a registered app or a store installation link.

  3. Build and preview

Build the app, resolve reported errors, then run its preview on an authorized development store. Confirm that the Ralika theme extension appears there before a production release.

    shopify app build
    shopify app dev
  4. Prepare a version and install your app

After the preview passes, the command below creates a version without releasing it. Review and release that version through your app’s process. Then install the app through its authorized distribution flow or the genuine installation link generated in Shopify’s Dev Dashboard. Deploying source and installing it in a store are separate steps.

    shopify app deploy --no-release
  5. Activate the embed in the theme

In the intended theme’s editor sidebar, open App embeds and enable Ralika. In Ralika’s settings, enter the complete workbench address and choose a campaign type.

    https://ralika.tech/en/workbench/
  6. Choose visibility and save

Ralika’s Show local workbench tools publicly setting starts off. Enable it only when these controls should be visible to storefront visitors, then save the theme. Both the app embed toggle and this Ralika setting must be on to display the tools.

  7. Try the product flow

Open a public product page on the store. Click Import this product locally, then Prepare a campaign in Ralika. Review the prefilled product in the workbench before preparing drafts.

Need a hand?

Ralika does not appear in the theme

Check the store, app installation and the extension’s presence in the version being used. Open the correct theme’s App embeds, enable Ralika and save. A downloaded source ZIP does not activate an app by itself.

The embed is enabled, but no tools appear

Also enable Ralika’s Show local workbench tools publicly setting, then save the theme. This setting starts off so you choose when the controls become visible.

The campaign does not open

Enter a complete HTTPS workbench address ending in /atelier/ or /en/workbench/. Allow the new tab if the browser blocks it. Use a public product page with readable product information.

You want to bring copied JSON into the workbench

Save the JSON in a plain-text .json file. Export any existing workbench before selecting that file under Import workspace. Storefront data and Ralika website data are separate, and import replaces the browser’s workbench.
